10 Facebook Marketing Tips For Christmas

It’s *almost* Christmas time!

It just seems to creep around each year, doesn’t it?

Any big event like Christmas is a great opportunity to adapt your social media posts to have a theme.

It’s fun, shows your relevant and helps you connect even more with your customers.

Here are my tips for marketing on Facebook this Christmas period:

 1. Create Custom Christmas Images

With easy to use image creation tools like Canva, there’s no reason not to create amazing Christmas themed images for your business!

2. Spread Christmas Cheer With A Competition

Your customers are loyal all year so why not go the extra mile and give something back at Christmas?

People love competitions and free things!

Make sure you ask them to like and share so you increase your exposure as much as possible.

3. Promote Local Christmas Fairs & Events

It may seem backwards to promote another business on your page but if it’s a community event, you’ll be seen in a positive light as part of the community.

Also, if the event is close to your business, you benefit from the foot traffic!

4. Be On Top Of Your Customer Service

Customer questions are naturally going to increase during Christmas as your product sales do.

The key to converting those questions into sales is speed!

Replying to questions quickly mean you keep your business and its’ products in your customers’ mind.

5. Don’t Go Too Heavy On Products

I know it’s probably your busiest time of year but no one likes being hard sold.

Just be aware and make sure your posts are balanced!

6. Give Your Page A Personal Touch

The most engaged posts over Christmas in the past have been pictures of your team celebrating Christmas.

Why not showcase your team dressed in Christmas attire?

Get creative! Give your business a human face.

7. Schedule Posts For Maximum Effect

It’s likely that you aren’t going to be working over the Christmas period.

Save yourself time by scheduling your posts!

8. Look At Competition From Last Year

Have a browse at what your competition were up to last year to see what worked and didn’t work for them.

Take ideas from the popular posts and make them your own!

9. Deck Your Facebook Cover

Get in the Christmas mood and make your cover picture a bit more festive!

10. Create Gift Idea Lists

Finding the perfect Christmas gift for numerous family and friends is a nightmare, isn’t it?

Make your customers lives easier by creating them a gift idea list relevant to your industry.
